New Member's Orientation
There are five New Member classes you are asked to attend. The classes are designed to assist newborn Christians in their growth and to revive and encourage others on God's plan for our lives. We will also attempt to acquaint you on what we do here at Colossian and why.
If for any reason you are unable to attend all five classes consecutively, you will need to make up those classes missed. When the classes start over again, you must attend the class or classes missed. Upon completion of the five classes, you will receive your certificate of membership.
Colossians is a church that believes in the leadership of
the Holy Spirit. We believe a family that prays together will stay
together. We are asking you to join with us, pray with us and if it be
God's will, please stay with us.
Our mission is to give a visible form to that faith and
fellowship to which God has called His people. We are guided by the
scriptures with Jesus Christ as our Head and directed by the Holy
Spirit. We seek to fulfill our calling through corporate worship
services, through a program of Christian growth education and spiritual
nurturing, through proclamation of Gospel by work and deed, through
outreach to both the believers and unbelievers of our community and
through the provision of adequate facilities to accomplish this mission.
